Interactive Anatomic System Dashboard(IASD)

Purpose

The goals of the project are to:

1. Improve the quality of education in health related fields: by fostering a framework of systems thinking that helps students understand and integrate health data from multiple sources.
2. Improve the quality of clinical care and improve patient safety by creating visualizations that provide clinicians with a systems view of physiologic and pathologic processes as well as the efficacy and confounding interaction of pharmacologic interventions.
3. Create a differentiator for attracting higher quality students and faculty to the University: by giving users a platform for studying relationships between organ systems in health and disease.
4. Provide the University with a competitive advantage for attracting sponsorships: by providing users with an innovative platform for studying data and communicating it across fields.
