The National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs support active research participation by undergraduate students. REU Sites engage students from across the country in research programs aimed to expose undergraduates to research in any area related to the NSF. Approximately 100 of these REU sites are housed within the NSF Directorate for Computer & Information Science & Engineering. This meeting brings together the PIs of those REU sites to build community and exchange effective practices for engaging undergraduate students in cutting-edge research and meaningful research experiences.
The workshop was made possible with support from National Science Foundation Award #2316050 and other REU Site awards.
