ALIGN: AI Literacy for Innovation, Growth, and Networking
Preparing educators, schools, and communities for an AI-partnered future.
AI Literacy Academies
Building AI-Ready Schools and Classrooms
The ALIGN AI Literacy Academies are designed to help educators, school leaders, and districts move beyond conversations about artificial intelligence toward meaningful, sustainable implementation. Through immersive professional learning experiences, participants develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical strategies needed to integrate AI literacy into teaching, learning, leadership, and school systems. Grounded in the belief that AI literacy is essential for all learners, the academies support educators in understanding not only how to use AI tools, but also how to critically evaluate, responsibly implement, and thoughtfully lead AI integration within their communities.
Many schools and districts are currently developing AI policies, standards, and guidance documents. The ALIGN AI Literacy Academies focus on helping educators operationalize those ideas into real classroom practice and sustainable schoolwide change.
Participants explore:
- responsible and ethical AI integration,
- instructional applications of generative AI,
- AI literacy foundations for educators and students,
- classroom implementation strategies,
- district and campus readiness,
- and systems-level approaches to professional learning and leadership.
The goal is to help schools move from isolated AI tool usage toward coherent, human-centered AI literacy ecosystems. The ALIGN model emphasizes collaborative campus participation and leadership development.
Rather than training individuals in isolation, academies are designed to support:
- campus leadership teams,
- STEM educators,
- instructional coaches,
- district leaders,
- and interdisciplinary teacher groups.
This approach helps schools build shared understanding, common language, and sustainable implementation practices that extend beyond individual classrooms.
While many academy experiences have focused on STEM education, the framework is adaptable for virtually any content area or educator audience.
AI literacy is not limited to computer science classrooms … it impacts teaching, learning, creativity, communication, and critical thinking across disciplines.

Bring an AI Literacy Academy to Your School District
Artificial intelligence is changing education faster than most schools can respond. While many districts are beginning to develop AI guidance and policies, the next challenge is turning those ideas into meaningful classroom practice. The ALIGN AI Literacy Academy helps educators and school systems bridge that gap.
Our customizable professional learning model is designed to help schools operationalize AI literacy through sustained, implementation-focused learning experiences that build educator confidence, leadership capacity, and instructional innovation. Whether you're introducing AI for the first time or expanding existing initiatives, we partner with your team to create an experience that aligns with your goals and community.
Academies can be customized for:
- Classroom teachers
- Campus leadership teams
- District administrators
- STEM departments
- Cross-disciplinary educator cohorts
- Regional education service centers
- Statewide initiatives
Our 50-hour professional learning model is adaptable for educators across grade levels and subject areas and can be tailored to support district priorities, strategic plans, or state guidance. Participants leave not only with a stronger understanding of AI, but with concrete implementation plans, classroom-ready resources, and a shared vision for building AI-literate learning communities.
