Taylor Ishisaka first became involved with TACC as a participant of the inaugural cohort of Supporting Pacific Impact through Computational Excellence (SPICE) program and later participated in the Advanced Computing Student Collaborative (ACSC) program, where she collaborated with TACC staff on data analysis, visualization, and applied computing work.

She later returned in mentoring and instructional roles, supporting SPICE and ACSC participants, Code@TACC summer camps, and the Cyberinfrastructure Research for Societal Advancement REU, and won the SC21 Data Science Competition for her work in large-scale data analysis. Taylor is now part of TACC’s User Support team, where her work centers on helping users effectively access and use TACC systems and resources.
