Steve joined TACC in 2019 as an Engineering Scientist in the Cloud and Interactive Computing area of the Advanced Computing Interfaces (ACI) group. Steve has worked for many years as a software engineer including stints at Lockheed Martin Space Systems, IBM, Sun Microsystems, and Oracle. Prior to his career as a software engineer, Steve was a physicist with the Naval Research Laboratory conducting research on underwater sound transducers. Steve's doctoral research at Florida State University was in the area of computational methods for High Energy Physics.
