Sheryl joined the TACC team in 2019 as a contractor to work on the K-12 Computer Science Pathways grant funded by the KLE Foundation. Prior to that she worked with WeTeach_CS to provide training in Computational Thinking, Foundations of Computer Science for Teachers and Launch CS. Her previous work experience includes fifteen years as a math/science/STEM specialist for Region 3 Education Service Center, six years serving as the Assistant Director of the South Texas Rural Systemic Initiative funded by NSF and twelve years as a high school math, science and programming teacher.
