Joining TACC in May 2023, Linda serves as the Director of Broadening Participation in Computing Institutional Initiatives. Linda Akli develops and manages innovative workforce development and broadening participation programs that engage the next generation of researchers in Advanced Computing. Prior to joining TACC, Linda Akli was the Director for IT Initiatives at the Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA) where she was responsible for facilitating collaborative projects with SURA member institutions and leading groundbreaking workforce development and broadening participation programs for the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE).
