Laura Branch joined TACC in October 2004 and is a Senior Systems Administrator in the Advanced Computing Systems group, Large Scale Systems team. Laura currently leads administration of the Dell Linux cluster Stampede2 and will provide systems administration support for the NSF funded cluster called Frontera, a Dell EMC/Intel/Mellanox system scheduled to go into production in 2019. She also provides backup support to large scale systems staff on other production computing resources. Before coming to TACC, Laura worked for Applied Research Laboratories for 7 years performing system/network administration on a variety of Unix platforms in the Sonar Development Division.
