Judy Lau is a Computer Science Professional Development Coordinator at The University of Texas at Austin in the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC). She develops interactive, engaging curricula aligned to the K–8 Technology Applications TEKS in computer science, computational thinking, and cybersecurity, with a focus on seamless integration into core subjects. A former educator with over 17 years of experience as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and district coordinator, Judy brings deep expertise in curriculum design and teacher support. She is especially passionate about making computer science accessible for young learners and helping K–5 teachers integrate technology and physical computing through hands-on, age-appropriate activities.
