Joseph Vega, joined TACC in February 2025 as an Elementary Computer Science Education Specialist. He previously served as a bilingual Spanish educator and instructional coach with Pflugerville ISD. His experience includes leading teacher improvement initiatives, designing professional learning experiences for elementary staff, and fostering STEM engagement through innovative, standards-aligned curriculum development. Most recently, he supported WeTeach_CS by designing and delivering K-5 computer science professional development sessions, developing curriculum, and translating educational resources into Spanish to broaden participation.
