Felix joined the Life Sciences Computing team at TACC as an Engineering Scientist Associate. He went to the University of Texas at Austin as a biology major and the University of Texas at Dallas for graduate school. He received his Master's in Computational Biology and Biology with a focus in Computer Science, with coursework in Big Data Management, Machine Learning, Medical Image Analysis, and Bioinformatics. After receiving his Master's degree, he joined Capgemini as a Software Engineer for their Financial Services sector, focusing on Cloud Engineering (receiving the AWS Certified Associate Developer certificate) and Java Full Stack where he worked for a year before joining TACC.
