Dawn Hunter serves as the Director of Community Outreach for the Leadership-Class Computing Facility (LCCF), where she builds partnerships and develops programs that connect students and communities with STEM opportunities.

Since joining the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) in 2016, Dawn has served as Senior Program Coordinator, Program Administrator, and Program Manager within the Education and Outreach group. In these roles, she successfully managed summer residential camps for high school students and played a pivotal role in recruiting and coordinating K-16 education and outreach initiatives. Prior to her time at TACC, Dawn spent years leading program implementation and activities for afterschool programs and overseeing recruitment for the Equal Opportunity in Engineering program at the UT Austin. Her career began with a decade of experience as a Customer Service Engineer, following her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kettering University.
