Dan is responsible for contributing to the design and operation of web-based technology platforms delivering Science-as-a-Service to the open science community. Dan has been a software engineer for over 30 years working for several companies in the Austin area including Tivoli Systems / IBM, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, and Hewlett Packard. He has worked on a variety of products including system management software and cloud orchestration platform. Dan has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Texas State University.
