Carrie earned both her Bachelor's (in Music) and Master's (in Computer Science) from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. After graduating, she moved to Austin and worked for a small web development firm for two years before joining TACC in February of 2012. She works in the Web and Mobile Applications group on a variety of projects including the XSEDE User Portal and SD2E, and can sometimes be found teaching TACC's Introduction to Scientific Computing class.
