Ari Martinez TACC as a Senior Systems Administrator in the ACS Large Scale Systems to support HPC computing clusters and evaluate new storage architectures, systems, and software tools. He has accumulated 20 years experience in Linux system administration, infrastructure, networking, and 15 years in high performance storage systems. Prior to TACC, Ari worked at NSF academic computational centers associated with TeraGrid and XSEDE. He also architected and deployed multi-petabyte storage systems for various TACC HPC clusters, including Frontera. He also worked in industry as a Field Engineer and Senior Principal Engineer where he gained extensive experience in designing, evaluating, and operating HPC high-speed network fabrics, compute, and parallel filesystems.
