Alana Benavides joins the TACC team  as a Project Support Specialist with WeTeach_CS. She is looking forward to contributing to the team’s mission of expanding computer science education and supporting educators across Texas.

She comes to TACC from Laredo, Texas, where she served as a Student Development Specialist at Texas A&M International University. In that role, she advised students, coordinated engagement initiatives, built campus and community partnerships, and led digital communications efforts to enhance student outreach and success.

Alana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and later completed her Master’s in Marketing with a concentration in Digital Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.

She is thrilled to begin this new chapter with TACC and look forward to learning, growing, and making a positive impact alongside the team.
